Flowment Studio is a Mac app for designing themes used by the Flowment iPhone app. Arrange text, time, location, colors, and images on a live canvas; export a .flowtheme package and import it into Flowment to use on cards and Home Screen widgets.

Get started
- 01
Create or open
Choose File → New Theme to create a .flowtheme document, or File → Open Theme to continue one you already have. A new theme starts with Small and Medium widget layouts.

Compose on the canvas
Choose a size above the canvas. Add Title, Subtitle, Date & Time, Progress, Location, or materials from the library. Select a layer to adjust its position and style in the inspector. Use Grid and Slot Guides when you need precise placement.

Set what the theme supports
Use the inspector to choose the theme’s name, audience, date and location options, palettes, and type. Preview with different sample content and check both Small and Medium sizes.

Validate and export
Save your changes, then choose Export Theme. Studio checks the theme before exporting and shows issues in the inspector. The exported .flowtheme package contains the theme and its included image assets.

Good to know
Save and Export are different
Save keeps your working document. Export creates a package you can import into Flowment. Export does not publish it to the theme marketplace.
If an image is missing
Reopen the complete .flowtheme package or its accompanying asset files. Older working copies may reference images that are no longer beside the theme document.
If Export is unavailable
Open the inspector to read the validation issues. Resolve the listed problems, save, then export again.
